For many clients of Jewish Child & Family Services, the expense of preparing a child for the new school year is simply beyond their means. These families struggle to pay rent and keep food on the table. It’s not that these caring parents don’t value education – like you, they want to see their children enter the new school year prepared and proud. By participating in our Back-to-School Drive you can make a difference. A simple collection, which would make an ideal Mitzvah project for entire congregations, individuals and summer camps alike, can make all the difference to a needy child. We are collecting backpacks & new supplies for JCFS’ clients in need ages Pre-K through High School through August 8th.
How to help?
1) Purchase items online.
2) Hold a collection drive.
3) Drop off items at one of our office locations.
4) Volunteer to stuff backpacks with supplies.
